"... I will put enmity between thee and the woman between thy seed and her seed ..." the seed of the devil are those who do the will of his father (Gospel of John chapter 8, verses 43-47 ) and the seed of the woman is Jesus (Gospel of Matthew chapter 1, verse 18-25) Jesus overcame the devil forever. (Colossians chapter 2, verses 3-15).
Genesis chapter 1, verse 1 .- In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth ...
The Bible begins by speaking of how God created all things by his word or verb (Genesis chapter 1, verse 31).
last thing God created was the man and woman and fashioned with his hands in his own image and likeness. And he gave everything he had created to have dominion and subdue the earth (Genesis1, verses 27-30).
then put in a garden in Eden (Genesis chapter 2, versículo8) to live in it.
also planted in this place the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil and ordered the man, who did not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2, verse 9, Genesis 2 verses 16 and 17) why would die.
The man had communion with God, and this is not pleasing to the devil so he began to weave as a separate man from God. And looked for the woman he said "... that" God has told you not eat of every tree of the garden ?..." (Genesis Chapter 3 verse 1) The devil or old serpent (Revelation 12, verse 9) is the enemy of God (Isaiah 14 verses 12-15) told lies. (John chapter 8, verse 44, first Timothy chapter 2, verse 14) and promises Women aroused greed, and obeying the devil and disobeyed God, the woman made the man ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. (Romans chapter 6, verse 16) and made slaves of the devil, sin against their Creator (Gospel of St. John Chapter8, versículo34, Romans 6, verse 16).
After the transgression of man, God made the garden and put a sword flamífera for man to return and would not eat from the tree of life and live forever (Genesis chapter 3, verses 21-24) and God apart from man (Genesis chapter 2, verse 17, Romans chapter 16, verse 23, Santiago Chapter 1, verse 15). But the mercy of God for man is great and having faced the woman with the ancient serpent told them "... and I will put enmity between thee and the woman between thy seed and her seed will crush your head and your will strike his heel "(Genesis chapter 3, verses 3-15), what does this mean? meant that God had a plan to restore the relationship with the man, but this plan would take God out many years later. God spoke and his word is said in Eden incarnate and be fulfilled as God said (Gospel of John chapter 1, verse 14).
Note, and when God speaks, his word is fulfillment (Hebrews chapter 11, verse 3, Psalm 33 verses 4 and 9, Matthew chapter 26, verses 53 and 54, Gospel of Luke chapter 18, verse 31, Chapter 24 verses 44-48) .
break down a little this verse from Genesis chapter 3 verse 15 "... and I will put enmity between thee and the woman ..." from the time the devil and the woman had an absolute enmity. In Eden we see how the snake is looking for women to get to the man but a man sins after you do your slave, I used to subjugate women reduced to slaves of man with many duties and no rights, even though up to the 1960 there are social movements, recognizing women's rights and equality of man, to date no such equality exists, all because the man ignored the word of God through the Lord Jesus Christ had been restored good relations between man and women, because the devil was defeated at the cross of Calvary.
"... I will put enmity between thee and the woman between thy seed and her seed ..." the seed of the devil are those who do the will of his father (Gospel of John chapter 8, verses 43-47) and the seed the woman is Jesus (Gospel of Matthew chapter 1, verse 18-25) Jesus overcame the devil forever. (Colossians chapter 2, verses 3-15).
"... this will crush your head and you will strike his heel ..." the promise is that the seed of the woman's seed shall bruise the head of the devil. Then, Jesus dying on the cross, took all the sins of man on it. It should be recalled that the wages of sin is death (Romans chapter 6, verse 23) and that sin entered the world through one man (Romans chapter 5, verse 12) and by sin death, so death passed upon all men, because all sinned. Who had the power of death? The devil (Hebrews chapter 2, verse 14) whom Jesus after voiding the handwriting of ordinances that was against us and that was against us, out of the way and nailed to the cross, having spoiled principalities and powers made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians chapter 2, verses 14 and 15) and all children of the devil who conspired against Jesus was ashamed and knew that Jesus was truly the son of God and what God said came true (the Gospel of Matthew chapter 27, verses 62-66, chapter 28 verses 11-15).
